Week 17 League Week 14 Review

The Postmen entertained their nearest challangers ,the Nonny Pool Boys , and with a 9-3 victory stretched their lead at the top of the table to 5 points. Scott Morrison won 3-0 , Stuart McCulloch , Alan Hall Jnr and Jatinder Singh all winning 2-1 for The Postmen. Scott had a break of 43 , Stuart had breaks of 37 and 36. Jamie Lynn of the Pool Boys had a 40 break.

Cuddles went second in the table with a comfortable 10-2 win over Harry's Potters , Cameron Armstrong and Stewart Garrick both winning 3-0 for Cuddles ,Cameron having breaks of 37 and 33. Nicky Carr and Trialist also won 2-1 for Cuddles with Nicky having a break of 31.

The Rack Pack got back to winning ways with a 9-3 win over Chalk is Cheap , Patrick O'Connor winning 3-0 and backed up by team mates Dean Riddell, Adam Boyd and Billy Frearson , who all had 2-1 wins.

Lucky Break and 4Aces served up an entertaining 6-6 draw , Allan Duffy with the standout performance for 4Aces in a 3-0 win with breaks of 39, 36 and 30. Ian Reid put 4Aces 5-1 ahead in a 2-1 win over Steven Stamp who had a 35 break. Christain Gibson brought Lucky Break back into the match with a 2-1 win before Graham McQuaid salvaged the draw for Lucky Break with a 2-1 win.

The Hurricanes saw off the Potting Bowlers with a 10-2 win to remain in 9th place in League table. Che Basra and Tommy Young of Hurricanes both winning 3-0, David Sellars Jnr and Tony Ward both winning 2-1 for Hurricanes completed the scoring.

Touching Cloth edged out You've Been Framed with a close 7-5 victory. David Cowan , Robert Rutherford and Robin Dunlop all winning 2-1 for Touching Cloth. Wullie Brown winning 2-1 for YBF with David Mitchell of Touching Cloth having a 37 break.

The match between Century and Behind The Black was postponed to be played at a later date.
