The Postmen go 3 points clear at top despite a 6-6 draw with Century
Match 1 resulted in a close 7-5 victory for Baize of glory over Hurricanes , Colin Wiggins , Arran Fullerton and Warren Fullerton all winning 2-1 for Baize with David Sellars Jnr winning 2-1 for Hurricanes. Warren Fullerton had a 44 break in his match.
The Postmen were held to a 6-6 draw by Century , Scott Morrison and Stuart McCulloch had both won 2-1 to put The Postmen 4-2 in front before Martin Lee McNallly and Leo Moffat boh won 2-1 for Century to square the match.John Baxter of Century had a 32 break and Jatinder Singh of The Postmen had breaks of 32 and 31.
Match 3 saw Harry's Potters extend their winning run to 5 matches with an 8-4 victory over Chalk is Cheap , David Stirling starred for Potters in a 3-0 win , backed up by Brian McCrone and David Nix both winning 2-1 , Victor Obonyo won 2-1 for Chalk is Cheap to complete the scoreline.
In Match 4 , You've Been Framed overwhelmed The Rack Pack with a score of 11-1 , Quintin Paterson , Joe Ballantyne and Wullie Brown all winning 3-0 with Dylan Sweeney winning 2-1 , Billy Frearson winning the consolation single frame for The Rack Pack.
Match 5 , Lucky Break edged Touching Cloth in a 7-5 win. Graeme Dick winning 3-0 for Lucky Break ,including a break of 37 , Steven Stamp winning 2-1 with breaks of 55 and 32. Robin Dunlop and Robert Rutherford both won 2-1 for Touching Cloth , Robin had a break of 32 in his good victory over Christian Gibson who also had a 31 break.
Match 6, Potting Bowlers held league title contenders Cuddles to a surprising 6-6 draw. Cameron Armstrong of Cuddles again scored heavily in his 2-1 win with breaks of 45, 44, 33 and 31. Nicky Carr also won 2-1 for Cuddles but Potting Bowlers secured the draw when Robbie Robinson and Iain Boyd both won 2-1 to dent Cuddles title hopes.
Match 7 was a rescheduled match between Century and 4Aces , which the 4Aces went on to win by a score of 7-5. 4Aces went 5-1 ahead as Ian Reid won 3-0 and Graeme Innes winning 2-1 , Graeme had a 34 break and his opponent Paul Doherty had a 31 break. Leo Moffat won 3-0 for Century to bring them back into the match only for Allan Duffy of the 4Aces to close out the match with his 2-1 win.
