Week 9 League Week 6 Review

In the rearranged match from last week Behind the Black got their first win of the season with an away victory at Hurricanes of Ayr. Dougie Wright starred with a 3-0 win backed up by Chick Brown and Iain Beaton who both achieved 2-1 wins , with Tony Ward of Hurricanes replying with his 2-1 to make the final score 8-4 to Behind the Black.

4 Aces had a comfortable 8-4 win at home to Baize of Glory, Allan Duffy, Graeme Innes , Ian Reid and Ian Craig all secured 2-1 wins for the 4 Aces , Graeme innes and Allan Duffy having breaks of 43 and 37. Sophie Nix had a 35 break for Baize and Warren Fullerton a berak of 32 also for Baize

Nonny Pool Boys edged out Century by 7 frames to 5 where the first round of matches were tied at 3-3 with Gary McLaughlin of the Pool Boys and Kevin Smith of Century both winning their matches 3-0. Jamie Lynn and Geo Edgar sealed the win for the Pool Boys each with 2-1 wins. Geo Edgar had breaks of 69 , 42 and 31, Gary McLaughlin had a break of 41 and Kevin Smith of Century had a break of 31.

Lucky Break beat Hurricanes by 9 frames to 3 with Christian Gibson , Graeme Dick and GRaham McQuaid all winning 2-1 and Steven Stamp winning 3-0 for Lucky Break. Steven Stamp had a 43 break and Christian Gibson and Graham McQuaid both having 30 breaks.

The Postmen got back to winning ways in an 8-4 win over Chalk is Cheap , Scott McCulloch winning 3-0 including a 54 break , Mason Graham and JAtinder Singh also winning 2-1 for the Postmen. Victor Obonyo had a fine 2-1 win for Chalk is Cheap over Scott Morrison.

Harry's Potters built on last week's draw against the league leaders with an 8-4 win over The Rack Pack , Brian McCrone and Domanic Coyle both winning 3-0 for the Potters along with David Nix winning 2-1 for the Potters , this after Adam Boyed had put The Rack Pack ahead after his 3-0 win.

Potting Bowlers got their first win in style with an 8-4 victory over struggling Touching Cloth  , Iain Boyd and Derek Muir winning 3-0 for the Bowlers with Brian McLevy and Robert Rutherford winning 2-1 for Touching Cloth 

In the final match Cuddles had a dominant 10-2 win over You've Been Framed , Player of the Month Connor Davidsom ( 11 wins out of 12 this month ) and Nicky Carr both won 3-0 were supported by Cameron Armstrong and Stewart Garrick who both had 2-1 wins. Cameron having breaks of 58 and 31 , Stewart a break of 33. 

Cuddles and The Postmen remain joint top of the league on 11 points followed by The Nonny Pool Boys on 10 points.
