Yet Another CENTURY from Geo Edgar ! , this time a break of 107 as You've Been Framed go top of League.

This week saw the THIRD century of the season so far , Geo Edgar again hit the heights with a 107 break to give him a century in each of his first two league matches this season in the League, a first for our League.

Match 1 was the much anticipated face off between 4 Aces and Cuddles , where Cuddles prevailed by a score of 7-5 with Sam McDonald providing the pivotal 3 frames to secure the win. The first 6 frames were shared as Allan Duffy for 4 Aces and Stewart Garrick for Cuddles won 2 frames each for their side. Cameron Armstrong chipped in with 1 frame for Cuddles before before Sam sealed the match for Cuddles to give them 2 wins from 2 matches played. Nicky Carr had a 45 break for Cuddles.

Match 2 saw You've Been Framed storm into an 8-0 lead with 3 frame wins for Craig Reid and Quintin Paterson , with Dylan Sweeney also winning two of his frames. Rab Allan won 2 frames for Behind the Black to make the score more respectable at 9-3. YBF go top of the League on frames difference over Cuddles,The Postmen and Nonny Pool Boys

Match 3 had Century up against Chalk is Cheap and Century edged a tight match by a score of 7-5 , Paul Doherty put Century 3-0 up before Scott Davidson and Gerry Pentleton each won 2 frames for Chalk is Cheap then Scott Liddell won 2-1 to complete the scoreline and give Century their first win of the season.

Match 4 gave Harry's Potters their debut in the League and they pushed the Nonny Pool Boys to the limit in a 7-5 loss , no disgrace there lads. David Stirling got the Potters off to a good start with a 2-1 win then the Geo Edgar show began with breaks of 107 , 39 and 31 in a 3-0 win over the unfortunate Brian McCrone (who was also on the receiving end of Christian Gibson's 113 break) . Jamie Lynn of the Pool Boys had a 30 break in a 2-1 win as Harry's Potters Domanic Coyle won 2 frames for a final score of 7-5 to the Pool Boys.

Match 5 pitted The Potting Bowlers against Baize of Glory with the Bowlers hoping to avoid another 12-0 whitewash from Baize , Andy Bilby of the Bowlers prevented this from happening with a 3-0 win , however 3-0 wins from Colin Wiggins , Sophie Nix and Warren Fullerton gave Baize of Glory a comfortable 9-3 win however this wasn't a fair reflection of the match as the Bowlers lost 4 of those frames on black ball finishes.

Match 6 involved The Postmen of Ayr versus 2024 League winners Lucky Break and The Postmen showed that they are true title contenders with a 9-3 win. Jatinder Singh and Scott Morrison starred with each winning 3-0 for the Postmen , Scott having a 50 break , Allan Hall Jnr won 2-1 with breaks of 39 and 30. Steven Stamp of Lucky Break had a 33 break in his 2-1 win over Stuart McCulloch who also had a 40 break.
